The Free State tender bulletin, eTenders and RFQs — in one list

If you are hunting for the Free State tender bulletin, or trying to search the eTenders portal by province, this page is the same information without the portal. Every Free State notice published on the National Treasury eTenders system lands here — open tenders, and the RFQs (requests for quotation) departments use for smaller jobs — refreshed daily, so a tender shows up the day it opens.

22 of the Free State tenders below were published within the last 7 days. The official Government Tender Bulletin is compiled weekly; this list adds each new notice the day it lands on eTenders.

That covers where to find them; the harder part is qualifying to bid.

How to bid on a Free State tender

The rules are national, not provincial: to bid on anything in Free State you must be registered on the Central Supplier Database, be tax compliant, and — for construction work — hold the right CIDB grading. Most bidders are disqualified on those basics before their price is ever read.

Every Free State tender pack contains the same standard bidding documents, and an unsigned or blank one is thrown out before the price is read:

• SBD 4 — Bidder's Disclosure, where you declare any connection to someone employed by the state. SBD 4 explained →
• SBD 6.1 — Preference Points, the form your B-BBEE level is actually claimed on. SBD 6.1 explained →
• SBD 9 — Certificate of Independent Bid Determination, your declaration that the bid was priced without collusion. SBD 9 explained →
• The rest of the pack — which forms appear depends on the tender type. All the SBD forms → · Open, closed, RFQ and RFP →

Once you are compliant, the deciding factor is the tender document itself — every one lists its own mandatory returnables. Tender Ready SA Pro reads each Free State tender and gives you that checklist in plain English.
